An Executor is the person you appoint to manage and distribute your estate according to your wishes. A beneficiary can certainly be an Executor, provided they are over 18 and of sound mind.

Probate is a court process that validates a Will. In India, it is generally only mandatory for properties located within the municipal limits of Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.

Any two individuals over the age of 18 and of sound mind can be witnesses. Crucially, witnesses should not be beneficiaries of the Will (nor their spouses) to ensure impartiality.
